Getting a login for Tetrcosa

If you don’t have another fast machine with a large RAM that you like to use, then you are welcome to use our 24-core server tetracosa.cs.ucla.edu.

This machine can only be accessed from campus (though you could ssh through lion.cs.ucla.edu for remote access).

To get an account:

ssh account@tetracosa.cs.ucla.edu 
account@tetracosa.cs.ucla.edu's password:

Enter the password sent over email.

Note that you’ll need docker to install the necessary dependences.

IMPORTANT

• Note 1: The home drive doesn’t have a large hard-drive at the moment. So, please do not put any large files in your home directory since it doesn’t have much space.

• Instead make a folder with your user name within the folder: /usr/eda/CS251A

• Note 2: No bitcoin mining please. ; )
